Guilded Zines is a zine production group founded by the artistic roommates,
Demvris and Punto.
From small riso zines to hard cover A4s, they hope to someday snowball Guilded from a small band of queer likeminded creatives to Guild full of artistic talent.

Latest Project: VANITY FAE an illustrated editorial and fashion photography inspired look book made from the lens of those living within the four Seasonal Faerie Courts

Vanity Fae is a fashion lookbook zine showcasing artist interpretations of what the four Seasonal Faerie Courts (Spring, Summer, Autumn, & Winter) fashion and styles might look like, similar to the over-the-top and glamourous outfits featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair. Each artist will be assigned a Seasonal Court and a Fae Class (Common, Noble, or Ruler) to design a full fashion illustration inspired by their assigned court's aesthetic and model(s) class.Think editorial, fashion, and candid photography styles, all illustrated through the lens of those within the Faerie Courts.

What content will feature in the zine?
The zine will be divided into four sections, each one representing one of the four seasonal courts (Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter). Each section will then be split into three to show illustrated candid, editorial and fashion inspired artwork that could represent what fashion styles Common, Noble and Ruling class faeries might wear within that court.

Will you include writers?
No, Vanity Fae will not have any writer specific contributors. We are aiming for a lookbook-style project with a focus on visual arts. Any writing featured in the zine will be directly related to the artwork, and as such we feel it will be more appropriate for the artists to write about their own work. However we are planning on including writers in future projects! Just not this one, apologies!

What is the Zine format?
This zine will be formatted into an A5 physical product as well as a digital PDF in the style of a Fashion Look Book.

How will artists be compensated?
Artist compensation will be dependent upon the success of the Kickstarter. At absolute minimum, artists will be able to purchase a copy of the zine and any merch they design at a reduced production cost. Ideally, we aim to be able to provide each artist with a full bundle as well as an even cut of any profits made from the Kickstarter.

Is fanart allowed?
No, this zine is specifically for original characters and original art. You may draw inspiration from various IPs that may include faeries and lore that you like, but there MUST NOT be any explicit reference to them within the project.

What content will be featured in the zine?
Vanity Fae will be primarily SFW with some cases of artistic nudity, but nothing explicit or pornographic. As such all contributing artists will need to be 16+ at the time of application.
